UnderArmour X Devin Allen Collaboration

Earlier this year, I was tasked with capturing the launch of Devin Allen’s collaboration with UnderArmour at their Harbor East retail location in Baltimore, MD. While these types of partnerships are common between large brands and famous athletes, it is not usual to find photographers being selected for a large clothing partnership like this one. Devin is best known for his black and white photojournalism work. Most notably, his photographs of the uprising in Baltimore and for being featured on the cover of TIME magazine multiple times. You can see more of his work on Instagram @bydvnlln.

During the launch in Baltimore, my task was to capture the interior and exterior of the store and product installations, to photograph a few portraits of Devin, and to shoot the event as is unfolded. The images would be later used within the UnderArmour organization and externally with the public as needed. Below are a few of my favorite shots from the day.
